WALT be a Ruahine Rocker
Each Friday Pounamu visits our beautiful QEII. We love to learn collaboratively, it is fun to learn with our friends. Making a hut takes lots of resilience- searching for the right materials, planning and creating. We respect nature, we don't break off leaves and sticks and we even pick up rubbish. We discovered that there are families of birds living in the QEII and spiders that make spectacular webs. We can't wait for next week.
Today we also tried our hand at tent building. Mrs Haswell brought her tent and we put it up in the field. We will probably be able to do it all by ourselves shortly!
Exciting adventures can be had in the QEII!
