Ruahine Rockers meet Appleton Kindy

Thursday 1 March was a spectacular morning for The Woodlands. Our very special guests were the teachers and students from Appleton Kindergarten. We shared waiata, a big book story and adventure time! Thank you too, to our marvellous Room 5 scientists who showed us what happens when milk, foodcolouring and detergent react. 4 future Ruahine students enjoyed a look around their classroom and playing with our friendly Woodland folk. We hope to have our guests back later this year. I was very impressed with the way our students were able to show our visitors around, they were very inclusive and polite. This was a fabulous way for The Woodlands to showcase Ruahine School to the wider community. Tino Pai e Rawa. Look out for the upcoming item in the Bush Telegraph!
