How tall can you make a tower?

During Week 1 our STEM Challenge in Room 5 was to create the towest tower.  These boys showed a lot of resilience when working on their tower.  It must have fallen down 10 or more times and they never gave up.  They were determined that their "Santa Tower" was going to reach the roof.  They used fantastic problem solving skills and Mrs C could hear them talking about stabilizing and reinforcements.

Room 5 watched carefully on Friday as they measured their tower and it was over 2 metres tall.  We learnt that a metre is a standard measure because a metre will always be a metre.

Mrs C loves to see her class working together to solve problems.  You guys are true ROCKERS!
